4/14/25 - This is a minty example of a rare BYF 44 Mauser P.38 issued to the Nazi police force in 1944. All matching with a police "Eagle F" proof on the slide. Only about 1,500 of these guns were made. It has a dual-tone finish. These phosphate finishes are difficult to rate, but we estimate it has retained about 97% of its finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some spotty discoloration (typical for these phosphate finishes). Fitted with a proper set of black plastic Mauser grips. Comes with a rare, "U" marked, phosphate finished, "Waffen 135" Mauser magazine. Factory-new bore. De-cocker is functional.
