Description
7/28/23 - The Langenhan pistol, officially known as the F.L. Selbstlader Cal. 7,65, is a German pistol, designed by Friedrich Langehan and used by German military men, and the police during World War I. The design of the pistol is also similar to the design of FN M1900 pistol. About 55,000 pistols were produced. This one is all matching and has what appear to be some sort of police or military unit markings or inventory numbers. Oddly enough, there is also what looks like a Czech lion proof on the left side of the trigger guard - we couldn't find much information on this. The gun has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. There is light, somewhat scratchy wear concentrated around the high edges and some areas of discoloration at the right front of the gun and on the front strap. Some areas of very light spotty oxidation here and there. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips. Very nice bore with good rifling.Specifications
