Description
5/18/23 - This is a rare Papa Nambu made in the early 1920s. Most Papa Nambu pistols were Navy issued and marked with an anchor. This one was Army issued, as best we can tell due to the lack of anchor marking. Made in the Tokyo Arsenal. Comes with one period-correct but mismatched magazine. There is not much actual finish loss on the gun overall, just some thinning along the barrel. However, there are areas of pin-pricking on most the gun and noticeable spotty oxidation along the barrel. Minor pitting and significant dulling on both grip straps. Fitted with very nice matching-numbered wood grips. The bore is shiny with strong rifling for the most part, but there is very light freckling throughout.Specifications
