Description
6/12/23 - This is an excellent example of a 1911A1 issued to the US military during WW2. The frame was made by Remington Rand and dates to 1943. The slide was made by Ithaca. It has a Springfield barrel that is marked "PX-4". There is an "SA" marking on the right side of the frame, indicating it was reworked at the Springfield Armory. The entire gun has been arsenal-refurbished and refinished. As a result, the finish is really nice, and there is very little sign of wear. There are just some tiny dots of discoloration along the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips. Comes with a period-correct "S" marked magazine. Minty bore.Specifications
