Description

7/25/23 - This a nice example of an Enfield SHTLE III* manufactured by Ishapore in India in 1941. The bolt handle matches the receiver, but the rear part of the bolt and stock are mismatched. No import marks. The metal parts have retained roughly 85% of their finish with general high edge wear and some splotchy discoloration on the receiver. Minty wood stock that has been sanded. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
