Description
7/26/23 - This is an excellent example of a BSA Enfield SHTLE III* Rifle issued to the British military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. There is an "FTR 1953" marking on the receiver, indicating it was Factory Thorough Repaired or Reconditioned in 1953. It comes with a 1907-bayonet, leather scabbard, and canvas frog. Unfortunately, the leather scabbard is torn in two pieces (the leather is fairly dry and brittle). The gun itself has retained about 96% of its black enamel finish with just minor high edge in general. Minty wood stock. Mint bore.Specifications
