Description

6/22/23 - This is a beautiful example of a rare Police "Eagle L" marked BYF 44 Mauser P.38 that was issued to the German Police in 1944. There were only 4,600 of this variation produced, and 3,200 of that in 1944. All matching. Comes as a rig with a 1943-dated waffen-proofed holster (modified mag pouch) and a numbered, force-matched magazine. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its finish with just hints of wear around the muzzle and on the front edges of the slide. Fitted with excellent blackish-brown bakelite grips. Minty bore. De-cocker is functional.
