Description

10/6/23 - This is a nice example of a "bcd 43" code Gustloff Werke K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1943. It is mismatched but has no import marks. The bluing rates roughly 80% with areas of thinning around the front sight, barrel bands, around the rear sight, and on the floor plate/trigger group. There are some areas of spotty oxidation here and there, most noticeable on the floor plate/trigger group and on the butt plate. Nice matching-numbered wood stock. Excellent, shiny bore with great rifling.
