Description

12/26/23 - This is an East German unlicensed copy of the Walther PP. Known as the Model P1001, these guns were made in the Ernst Thalmann factory in the 1950's. They were most often issued to the East German police and military forces. This one was manufactured in 1955 and is chambered in .22 LR. It comes with some documentation that details its history. It also comes with a leather and two flat-bottom magazines (hand-numbered to match). The gun itself has retained virtually all of its bluing. Mint bore. Tiny import mark around the mag well.
