Description
3/5/25 - This is a nice example of an East German unlicensed copy of the Walther PP. Known as the Model P1001, these guns were made in the Ernst Thalmann factory in the 1950's. They were most often issued to the East German police and military forces. It is matching (the slide has been re-numbered to match), has an import mark on the left side of the frame, and has a Hammerli export marking on the right side of the frame. It comes as a rig with a fairly worn leather holster (there is a Luftwaffe proof, but this is not original) and one magazine. The magazine has a matching electro-penciled number. The gun has retained virtually all of its finish, just some tiny handling marks here and there and some very light pin-pricking on the back strap. Fitted with black plastic grips. Excellent bore.Specifications
