Description
3/25/24 - This is a stunning example of a fairly rare Astra Model 900 from 1933. The Astra 900 was a pistol developed to take advantage of a large Chinese demand for semiauto pistols with shoulder stocks, following the massive sales of the Mauser C96 in that country. There was a loophole in the international treaty accords that stocked pistols were not considered military arms, so civil war in China had a huge market for arms that this variant was able to meet. There were only ~21,000 of these pistols produced. Large ring hammer and 1000 meter tangent sight. This one is matching and has retained nearly all of its finish - just the slightest hints of high edge wear and a few tiny pits around the muzzle. Mint matching-numbered wood grips. Minty bore.Specifications
