Description

4/8/24 - This is a minty example of a Springfield Model 1899 Krag Carbine, manufactured in 1901 and chambered in .30-40 Krag. It is "US" property marked with a visible military cartouche and 1901 date on the left side of the stock. It has retained nearly all of its finish with very minor muzzle wear, a few small dots of oxidation on the barrel, and some very light scratches on the left side of the receiver. Excellent wood stock but has been inlet for sling swivel. The bore has good rifling with light pin-pricking throughout. Comes with a minty leather sling and oiler.
