Description

5/16/24 - This is an excellent and original K98 rifle that was made in 1942 at the Gustloff-Werke factory and issued to the German military. All numbered parts match aside from the trigger, including the receiver, barrel, bands, trigger group, rear sight, handguard and stock (internally), bolt release and bolt assembly. Follower is unmarked. The finish is original but shows thinning on most parts, and some splotchy discoloration on the barrel. Comes with cleaning rod and sight hood. Bore has strong rifling but frost and freckling in the grooves. Nice stock with minor handling wear but no cracks. This example is also missing the rear capture screw.
