6/3/24 - This is a very rare and desirable General Officer's Colt Model 1908 with US Property marking on frame. Made in 1942, there were only 1,500 of this variation production for General Officer's, compared to 2,500 of the the M1903. This particular example has a high polish finish and comes with its matching-numbered box, two magazines, and a cleaning rod. The finish on the gun rates about 95% with minor high edge wear, some minor pin-pricking and small scratches on the front strap, and some light scratchy wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with correct wood grips. Mint bore.
