12/14/20 - This is a very rare and desirable General Officer's Colt Model 1908 with US Property marking on frame. Made in 1944, there were only 1,500 of this variation production for General Officer's, compared to 2,500 of the the M1903. This particular example has terrific parkerized finish with blued small parts (grip safety, safety, trigger). Just a tiny hint of high edge wear on the slide, and a little bit of bluing loss on the bottom of the grip safety. Strong bore with minor frost in the grooves. Excellent wood grips. Mag is original and marked CAL. 380 COLT.
