Description
10/3/24 - This is an excellent example of an early Walther PP manufactured in 1931. It is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It has correct early features, such as the heavy hammer, 90 degree safety, extended barrel, and "upside down" serial number. The gun has retained about 96-97% of its original high polish finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there is some mild discoloration along the left side of the slide. Comes with a period-correct Walther banner-only magazine. Excellent, shiny bore. This particular gun is fitted with a scarce set of transitional "X back" grips that only appear in the 756xxx - 770xxx serial range. They are slightly different than the earlier "heavy X back" grips (see photo).Specifications
