Description

10/16/24 - This is an excellent example of an early Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in November of 1942. It has no letter suffix. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" military proofs. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the front strap, so the profile views are actually really nice. Very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips. Comes with a proper early "Eagle 88" marked Spreewerk magazine. The bore has good rifling with light frosting in the grooves. De-cocker is not functional. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
