Description

12/10/24 - This is a rare example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1940. It has a rare "CSR" inspection stamp on the frame - less than 5,000 of this variation made. It is all correct. The slide is numbered and matching, and the barrel is a correct Colt barrel with a large "G" under the lug. The gun has retained roughly 60% of its original earlier blued finish. There is obvious finish loss on the whole slide and on the grip straps. Fitted with correct wood grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has good rifling with light pin-pricking throughout.
