3/25/25 - This is a stunning example of a rare transitional Colt 1911 that was manufactured in 1924. Fewer than 10,000 Colt 1911s were made that year, and they are known to have transitional features from the 1911 to the 1911A1. This one is has the proper intertwined "HP" marked Colt barrel. It has been completely and beautifully professionally restored with excellent bluing and no signs of wear or use. Fitted with mint wood grips and comes with a two-tone magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking in the grooves.
