Description
3/25/25 - This is a desirable example of a British Contract Colt Government Model semi-automatic pistol with the "W" prefix serial number and chambered for .455. There were only about 10,000 ordered for British Ministry of Munitions contracts for the RFC and RAF Colt Government Model .455 with "W" prefix. The slide is marked "Calibre 455", and there are "Crown V" markings at the back left of the slide and frame. It has a WW2-era High Standard barrel, is fitted with WW2-era reddish plastic grips, and comes with a WW2 magazine. The gun has been refinished with just minor muzzle wear and some tiny dings in the metal here and there. Mint bore.Specifications
