Description
9/18/24 - This is a Colt New Service revolver from 1916 still chambered for the British .455 Eley cartridge. These revolvers were acquired by the British War Department during World War I, and they were popular with British officers. This one is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. There is an "A.E.Stevenson" marking on the back strap. It has retained about 90% of its original high polish finish. There is wear around the muzzle, some spotty wear on the cylinder, and wear on some of the high edges. A few light scratches and marks here and there. Fitted with proper black hard rubber grips. Mint bore.Specifications
