2/11/22 - This is a Colt New Service revolver from 1917 still chambered for the British .455 Eley cartridge. These revolvers were acquired by the British War Department during World War I, and they were popular with British officers. This one is arsenal refinished, but has the original parts and the cylinder was not modified to .45, as the British proof is still visible on the cylinder face. Good mechanics and an excellent bore. Original hard rubber grips have no cracks or chips.
