Description
10/4/22 - This is a Colt New Service revolver from 1915 still chambered for the British .455 Eley cartridge. These revolvers were acquired by the British War Department during World War I, and they were popular with British officers. This one is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. It has retained about 90% of its high polish finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are tiny scratches and dings covering most surfaces of the gun. Some light spotty oxidation on the grip straps. Comes with period-correct hard rubber grips - there are a couple of noticeable chips in the left panel and a repair crack on the right. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth.Specifications
