Description
4/14/25 - This is a rare military 1911, made at Springfield Armory. Issued to the US military during WWI. One of only ~30k produced at Springfield for WW1. The left side of the frame is "United States Property" marked. It also has flaming bomb military proofs on the left side of the slide and frame and the iconic Springfield eagle on the right side of the slide. All of the parts (down to all of the small parts) are "S" marked, except for the slide stop and grip safety. Correct Springfield barrel. The gun has lost most of its original finish with obvious wear throughout. Fitted with really nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a correct Springfield lanyard loop magazine. The bore shows noticeable pitting throughout.Specifications
