1/28/19 - This is an original WW2 era production Italian Gardone VT 91/38 Rifle. The rifle is in great condition with the original bayonet attachment as well. The folding bayonet has a plumb colored finish and is in excellent condition. The rifle overall has very nice high polish bluing - factory original finish. There's edge wear on the receiver and barrel, along with some patina and spotty finish deterioration. No notable rust or pitting. The bolt assembly has browning patina throughout. The stock butt plate has brown patina and natural wear, but again no rust or pitting. No cleaning kit inside the stock. The wood stock is excellent and clean. The original markings on the stock indicate 1942 production, and is serial number matching to the gun. Beautiful bore has some light patina and edge wear on the rifling, but very clean overall. Guaranteed original and authentic.
