Description
10/31/23 - This is an excellent condition Type 38 Arisaka that was made as a training rifle for the Imperial Navy. Instead of a Chrysanthemum, the naval anchor insignia is stamped. The barrels are smoothbore and not meant for real ammo. The overall condition of the rifle is great with a nice, even layer of patina on the metal. The left side of the stock is stamped with the Japanese Kanji on each side. The Kanji on the left side of the stock is stamped "Teaching" and the right side is stamped "Banned from Shooting Ammo." The action locks up fine and the bore is dark. Comes with a dust cover that is unmarked.Specifications
