07/01/26 - For sale is a No. 4 Mk. 1* Lee Enfield chambered in .303 British and made at BSA Shirley in 1944. The rifle shows heavy wear with the metal worn down to bare metal with a mixture of patina and tarnish. The stock was sanded and re-treated. No cracks or breaks. The bore is bright with good rifling. The muzzle area shows oxidation and some wear. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, magazine, and forestock. Import mark on the barrel.
