3/3/26 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser C96 sold in the commercial market in 1905. It is all matching and properly "Double Crown U" proofed. It comes as a rig with its original matching-numbered wood stock, leather harness, leather shoulder strap, and cleaning rod. The stock has two noticeable cracks. The gun has retained about 92% of its original bluing. The majority of the wear is along the underside of the barrel, but there is also muzzle wear, general high edge wear, a few tiny dings on the front edge of the frame, and some dulling on the front strap. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with very light pin-pricking throughout.
