SOLD - Custom, Cased DWM Luger Carbine

3/10/21 - This is a beautiful and interesting DWM Luger Carbine that appears to have been custom built, though we are unsure by whom or when. The pistol has all matching numbers with an American Eagle toggle marking and an 11.75 inch barrel. Our best guess is a skilled gunsmith custom built the barrel and applied it to a DWM military frame from WWI, an American Eagle variation receiver, and Navy model toggle/rear sight. The finish is beautiful all around, just a little discoloration on the sideplate and minor finish loss on the bottom of the front strap. Bore is mint, looks nearly unfired. All three magazines are period original, two are GERMANY marked on the base, as is the gun on the underside of the barrel. All numbered parts on the gun are matching, including the grips. The stock is also numbered to the gun but was presumably done by whoever customized this gun. It does appear to be period original, however. The custom case also includes a cleaning rod, takedown tool, punch tool and box of vintage ammo.
