Description
10/2/26 - This is an early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1913. It is "United States Property" marked and has been refinished. There is obvious finish loss on the front strap, with general high edge and muzzle wear, minor thinning on the mainspring housing, and some small scratches and marks here and there. It has a WW2-era "F" marked Flannery barrel. Fitted with period-correct checkered wood grips - one small blemish on the right side. Comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. The bore has strong rifling and is mostly shiny, but there is spotty oxidation throughout. A desirable early-production US Army 1911.
