Description
9/24/24 - For sale is an exceptionally rare first pattern 1891 Argentine Mauser bayonet. This bayonet features an intact national crest, a pair of shiny brass grips, and a matching scabbard. Condition-wise, the blade has a light patina throughout with no post-factory sharpening; however, there are a couple of minor chips on the edge. The markings on the ricasso are a little hard to read as they've worn down over time, but there is no grinding that is typically seen on these bayonets. The scabbard does not retain any original finish and is left with a natural patina; there is also a hairline crack that spans the length of the scabbard(See Photos). Overall a very scarce bayonet with a few condition issues.Specifications
