Description
3/12/24 - This is a rare example of an 1891 Argentine Mauser bayonet with the original matching scabbard and intact crest. The green leather frog included is correct, all original, and has tight and complete stitching. The blade is pretty clean but has a few spots of light pitting but no surface rust. The edge has not been sharpened. The ricasso displays a maker stamp, a serial number matching the scabbard (H351), and a fully intact national crest. The aluminum grips show typical surface wear and light scratches, no major issues there. Crossguard and pommel show an honest wear patina. The scabbard retains about 50% of its original bluing finish and is free from dents or cracks.Specifications
