09/29/26 - For sale is a Late War Mauser (byf) K98k "Kriegsmodell" made in 1945, equipped with a ZF.41 Optic. The rifle retains a nice bluing, with the finish starting to wear to a light grey/brownish patina in some areas of the barrel. The stock is in good shape overall. Some of the laminate layer lines are becoming prominent from age and humidity & temperature changes. On the edge of the sling slot, there is a splinter that appears to have been glued back on. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, bolt sleeve, cocking piece, and firing pin.
Rifle is equipped with an original ZF 41 scope and mount. The mount is unnumbered and is marked "duv" with an Eagle/214. The scope is marked "cxn" and the SN 115784. The lens is slightly cloudy with a good reticle.
