Description

11/20/24 - For sale is a Gewehr 1888/05 commission rifle made by Loewe in 1890 that was provided as aid to the Ottoman Empire. The rifle is in great condition with a nice bluing throughout the metal which is turning slightly brown with age. There is some speckling of oxidation visible throughout. The stock is in great shape without any breaks. The rifle has mismatched serial numbers throughout. The front barrel band is marked with a unit number. The bore is bright with great rifling but it does get darker towards the muzzle.
