Description

6/22/21 - This is an excellent example of an early Erfurt Luger that was issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. It was then reworked and issued to the German police. The gun is all matching, but we believe the side plate was renumbered. It has the proper Imperial and Erfurt proofs. It has an added police sear safety and comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine. Minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Spotty oxidation on the straps. Excellent un-numbered grips. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
