Description
10/6/26 - This is an excellent example of a 2nd Generation Colt Single Action Army revolver, chambered in .45 Colt with a 4 3/4 inch barrel. All matching. According to the included printout (small piece of paper) of a Colt factory letter, it left the factory with a 4 3/4 inch barrel and blued finish and was shipped to Micro Sight Company in Belmont, California on April 4, 1960. It also comes with its original matching-numbered box, wax paper, and owner's manual. The barrel, cylinder, and grip straps have a nice high polish blue finish, and the frame is case-hardened. It has retained about 94-95% of its original finish. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the left round edge of the frame, where there is also some minor oxidation. Other than that, there is minor muzzle wear, very minor wear on the front strap, a few marks and scratches on the back strap, and some roll marks on the cylinder. Fitted with correct black plastic grips. Mint bore. Fully functional, and the action is smooth. A well-documented, boxed 2nd Gen SAA.
