08/01/2024 - For sale is a rare, very late war K98k produced at the Mauser Oberndorf Factory in 1945. This rifle is in a Kriegsmodell configuration to simplify production at the end of the war. The rifle has a phosphate finish throughout that is worn fairly smooth. There are visible machining marks from the late war production. The rifle has matching serial numbers on the receiver, bolt handle, and bolt sleeve. The stock and handguard are unmarked. The stock is in excellent condition and has not been sanded. The bore is very bright with great rifling.
