Description

3/25/25 - For sale is a Type 46/66 Mauser made by Tokyo Arsenal for the Kingdom of Siam. The rifle is a Gewehr 98 Action chambered in their own 8mm cartridge. The rifle originally was in 8x50r Siamese but was later updated to the Spitzer cartridge 8x52r. The rifle had its rear sight shaved with this update. The rifle has a nice dark finish throughout the metal with minor patches of wear. The receiver has a sliding dustcover copied from the Type 35 Arisaka. The stock is excellent with minor handling marks. The edges are still sharp. There are cracks on both sides of the toe of the stock. The bore is bright with strong rifling. Theres some cosmoline or grease at the muzzle.
