Description
9/24/25 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1903 National Match made in 1925. The Rifle has an excellent blued finish with high edge wear on the rear of the receiver. The front sight band also shows finish loss. The magazine floor plate is faded to a lighter grey with light pitting on the surface. The bolt body has oxidation around the serial number. The stock is in fantastic shape with no cracks or breaks. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 2. The crown does not have a star gauge, but the top of the barrel is marked with a "3730" Star gauge registry number. The buttplate is properly checkered, and the bolt is e-penciled with the serial. The paper comes with a letter from the Springfield Research Service stating it is a National Match sold to Arthur Kemp of Philadelphia in October of 1925.
