Description
10/30/23 - Up for sale is a Czech made G33/40 issued to the German in 1940. Before the annexation of Czechoslovakia, the Czech government issued the Vz.33 carbine to their Border Guards and Gendemerie. After Germany's takeover, these handy carbines received a steel reinforcement plate to the stock and were issued as mountain carbines. This example has gone through some rebuilds as seen by the stock. The stock has 2 splices on the front half and rear section of the stock. The barrel bands and the bolt look to have been refinished. The bolt is matching to the receiver. There is a number stamped on the rear splice of the stock that does not correlate with the serial number. The bore is frosted over with a hint of brightness under it and has good rifling.Specifications
