Description
1/25/19 - This is a near-mint Type 14 Nambu rig that comes to us from the son of the vet who captured it. The pistol is all original with 98-99% original blue, showing only minor muzzle wear and slight thinning on the trigger guard. It comes with one original matching magazine, and one earlier, mismatched magazine. The gun is dated to November of 1943. The grips are matching to the pistol and in excellent condition, showing minor handling wear but sharp grooves and rich color. The capture document states that 2nd Lieutenant Harry Sims was in the Pacific Theater prior to VJ Day and brought back this pistol, which is cited as 'One Japanese Pistol' on the form. The pistol comes in a minty leather holster, which has some kanji written inside. It includes a spare firing pin but no cleaning rod. Excellent bore.Specifications
