Description
5/22/25 - For sale is a Vetterli Carcano made by the Terni Arsenal. The rifle was originally a blackpowder rifle that was rechambered for the 6.5 Carcano cartridge to be used as a backline rifle during WW1. The rifle shows plenty of age and wear. The metal retains a dark blued finish with speckling of patina and oxidation. The stock shows plenty of bruises and handling marks but no cracks or breaks. The bore is fairly bright with strong rifling. Cleaning rod is absent.
Note: It is not safe to shoot all full power 6.5 Carcano loads and should be consulted with a gunsmith prior to shooting.
