Description

03/26/2024 - For sale is an Italian Vetterli Carcano chambered in 6.5 Carcano. These rifles originally started as blackpowder rifles and then were converted into smokeless powder repeating rifles going into WW1. These rifles were used as backline rifles to alleviate Carcanos to the front line. The rifle has bluing on the metal but is coated with a freckling of rust throughout the finish. The stock is in good shape but there is a crack on the left side between the two barrel bands. The bore is dark but with rifling visible when shining a light through. Only visible serial numbers are matching on the receiver and stock.
