03/24/26 - For sale is an Italian 1870/87/15 Vetterli Carcano made at the Torino Arsenal in 1890. These rifles were originally chambered in 11mm but were converted to 6.5 Carcano as secondline rifles during WW1. The rifle shows its age with much of the finish gone. The receiver has old surface corrosion. The barrel has a shiny lacquer like finish. The stock shows plenty of wear and what looks like some kind of coating or paint was on the wood and was stripped and residue remains. Bore is dark with corrosion but has visible rifling.

 

We do not recommend firing this rifle.
