Description
07/23/26 - For sale is a Type 2 Paratrooper made by Nagoya during WW2 for the SNLF and TERA forces of Japan. The rifle is able to be taken apart into two halves during combat jumps. The metal is well-aged with freckles of surface corrosion throughout the rifle. The barrel shows wear down to bare metal. The stock is structurally sound but the buttstock area has had its finish stripped and sanded. The bore is bright with good rifling. Muzzle has an original WW2 muzzle cover installed. The rifle is mismatched. The bolt is mismatched numbered "920" but the serial number ends in "950". There are what looks like Nagoya "W" proofs on the root of the handle. The two halves match each other and the bayonet lug matches the receiver. The Imperial Mum has been defaced in the center.
