1/8/24 - This K98 Mauser rifle stock, complete with the hand guard, bayonet stud, rear band, and butt plate, is in Excellent+ condition, showing only minor wear. The stock is marked with "4157" vertically on the left side and a circle with "41" in front of this marking, indicating 1941 production. On the right side, it is stamped with "A.TRZ", signifying post-war Yugoslav refurbishment. Additionally, the front of the pistol grip is marked with a "4" and an unidentified mark. This stock likely originated during World War II, produced in 1941, and was later refurbished by Yugoslav forces. The excellent condition and included hardware make this stock a great find for collectors, restorers, or enthusiasts of World War II and post-war military history. It’s an ideal piece for restoring a K98 Mauser rifle or adding to a military collection.
