Description
09/02/26 - For sale is a Japanese Type 38 Arisaka made by Koshikiawa (Tokyo Arsenal) and removed from service and used as a school rifle. The Metal has an aging blued finish turning a shade of blue/grey. The barrel has more notable finish loss and some scuffing on the surface. The stock is well worn with many surface dings. There is a 2.5" crack on both sides of the wrist. The bore shows corrosion in the grooves with some brightness remaining on the lands. The rifling is still present. The rifle is mismatched in both Assembly and serial numbers. The Imperial Mum had been canceled when it was removed from service. A 文 Kanji was added on the receiver to denote its use as a teaching rifle. Comes with an original Type 38 dust cover.
