Description
10/17/24 - We believe this is an early WW2 example of a K98 bayonet with scabbard. Potentially between 1939 and 1941. The bayonet itself has an great+, unmarked, blued blade. The blade has mild amounts of wear and unsharpened. The hand guard has the majority of its bluing removed but no oxidation. The wood handle is in good shape with no major dents or chips. The pommel is marked with a serial number and two waffen proofs. The waffen proof on the scabbard doesn't match the two on the pommel. Overall in nice+ condition with some patina and wear throughout. The scabbard is marked F64 but no definitive serial.Specifications
