M42 Single Decal Army Helmet with Political Shield

12/15/25 - This is a good example of an M42 German helmet. The helmet is painted a dark green and most of the paint is in-tact. On the left side of the helmet there is an army decal that is visible but slightly pitted. The political shield on the right hand side of the helmet is visible but more heavily pitted. The exterior of the helmet is scratched throughout but all of the split pins are in-tact. The interior of the helmet is clean and free of patina, and has a steel band and an intact leather liner. The leather is very soft and malleable with no surface cracks and could be a replacement liner. The chin strap is fully in tact as well.
