SOLD - Excellent M42 Single Decal Heer Army Helmet

9/18/24 - This is an excellent M42 Single Decal Army Helmet issued to the German military during WWII. The helmet is a model 42 with flat (not rolled) edges around the brim of the shell. The shell has very minor patina throughout and some typical signs of aging, but no major dents or issues. Single decal is about 90% condition. The interior shell is stamped on the back brim "ckl 64" although the "ck" is extremely faint. The "ckl" maker stamp was used by Eisenh?ºttenwerk Thale after 1943, making this a later example. The metal liner band has some mild bends and surface patina, but no major issues. The leather liner is in great condition. The original leather chin strap is ripped cleaning, but in very good shape otherwise, and is still attached as shown.
